About this property
Traditional Scottish hospitality in the Trossachs. Great locally sourced food, open log fires and friendly service… these are just a few of the things that make The Winnock Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western so inviting. The location isn't bad either, just 3 miles from Loch Lomond and surrounded by gorgeous Trossachs countryside that will help you find some inner calm. Dating back to the 18th century, this extended former Coaching Inn stands on a pretty village green in Drymen. It's perfectly placed for an array of outdoor activities, including cycling, golf, and bird-watching and walking the West Highland Way. It's also less than 20 miles from the big-hitting attractions of Glasgow. Our 73 bedrooms are all equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Many of our rooms also have private balconies or four-poster beds, giving you an extra dose of luxury during your stay. For a quiet drink or relaxing meal, head to our cozy lounges, historic restaurant or public bar. When you want to share the good times with family, friends or colleagues, come and join in the fun of our live entertainment evenings. At our famous Ceilidh and Scottish nights, you can dance into the wee small hours, and if you're a fan of whodunnits, why not put your sleuthing skills to the test at one of our legendary Murder Mystery nights? It'd be a crime not to!
