About this property
The 4-star Barceló Bilbao Nervión hotel is a Bilbao icon where design, art, authentic gastronomy and an urban lifestyle come together. With more than 50 years of history, it has established itself as a meeting point open to the city, designed for both visitors and locals, reflecting Bilbao's dynamic, creative and cosmopolitan character. Located in the heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and surrounded by shopping areas and traditional pintxo bars, the hotel offers a comfortable and contemporary experience, making it the perfect base for discovering the charms of the Basque city. Its eco-urban concept combines sustainability, design and technology in bright, functional spaces designed to connect with the rhythm of the city and a modern, conscious and authentic lifestyle. The common areas and rooms at this centrally located Bilbao hotel feature a welcoming, modern design tailored to suit both urban explorers and business travellers, thanks to their carefully planned layout and services. The hotel's social hub is located on the ground floor, conceived as a space to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Here you'll find the Albegui lobby, a meeting point open to the city, where great food and conversations over a coffee or a drink set the pace. The experience is rounded off by its wine bar, which offers a careful selection of wines, as well as a private dining room designed for more exclusive gatherings. All this is complemented by a distinctive culinary offering: the Albegui restaurant, an à la carte space inspired by internationally minded Basque cuisine, where local produce and tradition meet a contemporary perspective. Thanks to its spacious function rooms and technical facilities, Barceló Bilbao Nervión has also established itself as an ideal venue for weddings and corporate events, with versatile spaces and a team specialised in organising tailor-made meetings and gatherings.
